The second largest carrier, the one and only AT&T today announce the LG Arena. AT&T will launch LG Arena online starting February 26 and in retail stores starting March 7. The most amazing thing in the phone is that it comes with AT&T Mobile TV . So you can watch TV channels like ABC, CBS, Disney Channel, Comedy Central, Fox, MTV and NBC. The LG Arena comes with 3 inch WVGA touchscreen display, S-Class 3D UI, HSDPA 7.2Mbps, full HTML browser, GPS, Wi-Fi and a 5MP autofocus camera with DVD-quality video recording. The phone also comes with AT&T Social Net for “access to all your social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter and MySpace in one easy-to-use interface”. ZTE’s Smooth is being shown off at MWC 2010, take a look at the picture above you’ll see its design closely reminds us about Palm Pre though this one is actually running Android 1.6. The new “Smooth” phone is set for a low-end target market. The phone comes with a 2.8-inch QVGA screen, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and look-alike Palm Pre design. We just have Toshiba T130 with 4G connection, and now we have Dreambook Lite M81 Netbook which will be equipped with 3.75G module. Pioneer Computers an Australia manufacturers has presented its latest netbook, the DreamBook Lite M81. The Netbook features a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, up to 2GB of RAM, and 2.5-inch SATA HDD for the storage. The DreamBook also features a 10.1-inch display with 1024×600 pixels resolution, a 7-in-1 card reader, 1.3-megapixel webcam, stereo speakers, microphone, two USB 2.0 ports, D-Sub, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, and Bluetooth. The special thing is the netbook will come with a 3.75G module while the battery stand for up to 6 hours of use. It Weighs for only 1.2 pounds and measures 271×189×20-28 mm. The netbook boasts of a 1.2GHZ dualSU7300 Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB of RAM up to 8GB, either 250GB or 320GB HDD.The Aspire 1820p also supports by Wi-Fi (b/g), Bluetooth 2.1, HDMI, three USB ports, card reader and a 0.3MP webcam with an 8-hour battery life.
Acer’s Touchportal UI was on display at MWC 2010 and it had the Aspire 1820p as the hardware platform. It’s interesting because you can use this to flick through photos, check out the music collection or play videos with but a touch, and even printing photos simply by dragging selected images over a print icon. We have another HOT rumor here, BoyGeniusReport(BGR) has a AT&T source that seems credible. It is said that “Our connect has heard an April-May time frame. What about pricing? Well, it looks like the X10 will be priced at $199 or lower, with a two year agreement, of course.” We know that it has been a year since the X10 was announced, and if this is true then I’ll be happy for you AT&T customers. Finally AT&T to launch its very first Android smartphone, the first handset will be Motorola Backflip which set to be shipped on March 7th for only $100 with two-year contract with smartphone data plan.
