Acer subsidiary Packard Bell has revealed its attempt at the tablet market, the Packard Bell Liberty Tab. A 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 Android 3.0 Honeycomb slate, reports NotebookItalia, the Liberty Tab runs an NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor with a 5-megapixel camera on the front and a 2-megapixel camera on the back.

There’s also an HDMI port, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and 3G, along with a 3.5mm headphone jack and microSD card slot. It will be available in “cherry red” and “pearl white” when it lands in Europe come June 2011.

If it’s all looking and sounding familiar, there’s a good reason. Acer also offers the Iconia Tab A500, its own Honeycomb slate which we played with at MWC 2011 a couple of months back. From a casual glance it seems that both slates at the same model, only Packard Bell has gone a whole lot glossier with its casing.

Just when you think that everybody gave up on netbook, Hercules announcing a pair of 10-inch eCafe netbook lineup dubbed eCAFÉ Slim HD and the eCAFÉ EX HD.

Hercules eCAFE Slim HD sport a 10.1-inch LED back-lit display with 1024 x 600 pixel resolution and powered by a Cortex A8 processor, 512MB RAM and 8GB onboard storage. eCAFE Slim HD also sport WiFi b/g/n, three USB ports, one mini USB port, microphone, webcam and running Linux OS. It is coms in the slimmest and lightest design in this category. eCAFE Slim HD will be available this April with a $229 price tag.

Hercules eCAFE EX HD on the other hand designed for longer battery life with expected 13 hours battery life between charges.
This model sport similar specs with eCAFE Slim HD but bring 16GB onboard storage and has a HDMI output as well as multimedia touch controls. Hercules eCAFE EX HD will be available this Aprill too but this one is priced at $269.

gateway has just adding a new lineup on their netbook series called The LT23. The Gateway LT23 packs a 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 pixel display and an Intel Atom N450 CPU, 1GB of memory and up to 250GB of hard drive capacity. A new lineup for Aspire One series has just been announced by Acer. The Acer Aspire One 521 is a 10-inch netbook powered by AMD V105 processor. This CPU has not announced yet until May, but we know this single-core is the “slowest” model from Nile platform. The CPU clocked at 1.2GHz and boasts 512KB L2 Cache, a TDP of 9W and DDR3 support. The netbook also uses the unofficial ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4225 graphics core with 384MB.
