A brand new Notebook codenamed Toshiba Portege M780-S7221 has been released. Actually this notebook comes with the price tag which costs about $1,354.99. And it has the weight for 4.6 lbs. The good news is this notebook will be available in United Sates in the near future. Then I will show you some features in order to give you an overall understanding of this article.

Just like the Verizon’s iPhone rumor, it looks like Apple is going to do something Huge this following weeks. While we haven’t gotten anything official regarding the iPad 2 out of Apple, Digg.com founder Kevin Rose has come forth to give his insight. According to Rose, Apple is set to launch the iPad 2 within the next 3-4 weeks “possibly Tuesday, February 1st”. Additionally, Rose says the tablet will feature a display with a higher resolution than the original generation device alongside front and rear facing cameras.
Can this statement to be believed? Well, the speculation regarding the hardware changes seems about right but we’ll have to wait for the official confirmation. [MW]

A new Android 2.2 smartphone has been unveiled at CES this week. This one is coming from ViewSonic. ViewSonic ViewPad 4 comes with Qualcomm’s 1GHz MSM8255 processor together with a 4.1-inch WVGA display, 5 megapixel auto-focus camera with 720p video recording capability, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi as well as HDMI out. The handset also has a 5 megapixel rear facing camera and a 3-megapixel front-facing camera which allows you to do video calls. ViewSonic also plan to release other sizes for their ViewPad with the ViewPad 7 and ViewPad 10 inch tablets. When the new ViewSonic smartphone hits the shelves it will retail for around $549 (but is carrier dependant) and should start shipping in the middle of 2011. [Geeky-Gadget]

If there was any doubt that CES 2011 would be the beginning of the Honeycomb tablet wars, additional confirmations coming through Australian blog Smarthouse will help put those doubts to rest. Sources have confirmed that LG Electronics will indeed, as speculated, take the covers off a 8.9″-screen tablet that happens to run Android 3.0, also known as Honeycomb.
There is speculation that this LG tablet, which some are calling the Optimus Pad, will have 2 screen sizest available in 8.9″ and 10″ and may even have a physical keyboard with Tegra2 processor.
It looks like this tablet will be announced at LG’s official press conference on Wednesday, January 5.

Archos has just released another internet tablet called Archos 70. What makes it special? The device is the first Android tablet with 250GB hard drive.
The tablet comes with WiFi, a capacitive touchscreen, a 1GHz processor, an HDMI out port, and Android 2.2. Unfortunately, it won’t run with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). A brand new Notebook has been presented by the LG company. Dubbed as the Xnote P210, The notebook has a 12.5-inch screen and by making the bezel thinner, it is able to pack that larger 12.5-inch screen into a notebook the size of your average 11.6-inch machine. The notebook’s bezels are 299mm horizontal, 192mm vertical, and only weighs 1.3kg , it’s quite thin. The LG Xnote P210 also equipped with an Intel Core i5 470UM CPU 1.33GHz and it uses Intel HD graphics, 4GB of RAM, 320GB of storage, and also running on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. iPad has changed the whole tablet market. Nowadays, we can found tablets all around us. The next generation of Apple’s iPad is very interesting to be discussed, let’s just call it the iPad 2. While we have no official confirmation as to what exactly this new iOS powered tablet will include we’ve speculated that it will feature a Retina Display and FaceTime support, at least. Some publications have speculated that Apple will do away with the current LCD display and instead make the switch to AMOLED.
Unfortunately, we have a report saying that the hardware manufacturer behind the iPad 2′s screens has confirmed that they are in fact LCD and not AMOLED. But, I believe it won’t be an ordinary LCD. Let’s wait for further information about this iPad 2. [Digitimes]

Have you heard that Sony Ericsson has just joined the tablet’s market? I’m surprised that we haven’t covered that Anzu, a tablet by Sony Ericsson to possibly be the Android Gingerbread flagship. Recently, someone in Russia is testing the device which is still running on Android 2.1. The Anzu tablet should be available early in 2011 with Android 2.2 and then shift to Gingerbread (Android 2.3). Some information about the tablet, it comes with a 4.3 inch display and will have 854 x 480 resolution, 800 MHz Qualcomm MSM7230, and a 12 Megapixel camera. Stay tuned with us because we’ll be hearing more about this tablet in the future.

Bell offers two different data plans; 500MB of data for $20/month and 5GB of data for $35/month. There is also a value added service called Tablet TV with a subscription price of $10. It allows you to get 10 hours of viewing and any additional viewing will be charge $1 per hour.
