Secured Financial Network, Inc. and Blue Bamboo launched commercially, its first to market credit card reader/printer for transaction processing through the iPhone, iPad, and iTouch.
For the first time, you can connect a combination printer and credit card reader directly to all iOS devices. The Blue Bamboo P25-M printer/magnetic stripe reader will turn an iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch into a mobile payment powerhouse with its high-impact thermal printer and secure card reader. It will even print a customer’s signature right on the receipt through the RedFin PocketPOS app’s Signature Capture feature.

Manufactured for mobility and POS receipt printing, the P25-M is ideal for payments as well as for ticketing lottery coupons, and receipts. RedFin Network releases the MFi certified P25-M Printer, which includes a specialized and secure dock port connection to the iPhone®, iPad® or iPod Touch®, and facilitates quick swipe and print capabilities for mobile merchants. 3DES DUKPT encryption is applied to the P25-M to ensure card data is protected at point of swipe. Many consumers require a physical receipt and the iPhone® paired with a P25-M has made Tableside Payments™ and credit card payments for home delivery and services a reality.

The value proposition is a compelling one for the mobile merchant. One can leverage his or her existing cell device for which they are already paying a monthly wireless plan for, without the need to invest in sophisticated hardware, which can grow obsolete within a few years’ time. The P25-M is a simple device that performs two simple tasks: secure reading of track data from the cards magnetic stripe and quickly printing a receipt.
