One of the devices was the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, the PlayStation smartphone with the slide-out game controller keypad. The Xperia Play will also run on AT&T’s HSPA “4G” network that boasts theoretical speeds of up to 21Mbps. Specs for the phone should remain relatively the same as what we have seen of the device so far, but a new color option has been revealed.
Alas, AT&T won’t say just yet when the Play will be available or how much it will cost on contract, but we do know a couple things for sure. Other than that, the specs — namely, the 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon chip and 4-inch (854 x 480 display) — remain the same.
