
Motorola has just announced the Motorola FIRE/SPICE Key (XT316). The device targeted for heavy texters. It will be hitting Hong Kong, Taiwan and Latin America by now. Followed directly by Europe and Asia later this Summer. For folks in Latin America, the device will be known as Motorola SPICE Key. While in Europe, the device will be known as Motorola FIRE.
The handset has a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen, 3-megapixel camera, HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS, compass, accelerometer, light and proximity sensors, 3.5mm headset hack and a microSD memory card slot. It also features Moto Switch user interface that let you switch your device from a business-centric to friends-centric mode.
Unfortunately, folks from Taiwan and Hong Kong have to stick with with Froyo while folks from European and Latin America will enjoyed their device with Gingerbread.
