One of the iPad Competitor which is expected by most of us is Dell Streak, this Android Tablet has been receiving quite a buzz recently. Today, Dell has just announce the Dell streak availability though AT&T hasn’t confirmed any released date and price yet. The Dell Streak tablet is available at $299 with a 2-year contract and $549 with no contract. As I mention before AT&T has not announced the device’s availability, but Dell is rumored to be shipping the device themselves completely unlocked just as Google did with the Nexus One. The Tablet currently running on Android 1.6 though it will be upgraded to Android 2.2 Froyo soon. What do you think bout this? [UV]
The Kyocera Zio is the very first Android smartphone from Cricket and Kyocera company, the android phone has been announced months ago but today Cricket wireless has just put up the pre-sale page for the Kyocera Zio. According to our sources The Kyocera Zio will go on sale August 15 with a special $55 unlimited rate plan.
The Zio is an entry-level Android phone and it features a 3.5-inch WVGA display, 600 MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 processor, 3.2 MP camera, and Android 1.6. No price point has been announced, but look for the Zio to debut around $249-299. Unfortunately the smartphone packs with the Android 1.6 OS though Kyocera plans to offer an upgrade to the Android 2.x OS sometime in the future until now there is no official announcement bout that. It seems that T-Mobile will soon launch the Blackberry Curve 9300. Have a look on the picture above, it is the leaked picture which is shown by bbgeeks and it has the T-mobile branding on it. but unfortunately we also heard that this Blackberry Curve 9300 will not get the RIM’s latest OS Blackberry 6 because it doesn’t meet the minimum RAM requirement. Some of the specs for the Blackberry Curve 9300 include 3G data, GPS, WiFi, 2MP camera, OS 5, 256MB RAM, and a 624MHz processor. We don’t have the price and release date yet, stay tuned with us. The Samsung Epic 4G has been announced by Sprint about one month ago but until now it didn’t have an exact release date. Luckily, SamsungMobileUSA recent tweets reads: “the Sprint Epic 4G is arriving in a few weeks.” Wow is that true? it’s not only that It has also been discovered that Samsung plans to post a Samsung TV video of the Epic 4G on August 20 – that could be the release date of Samsung Epic 4G even though Samsung’s website now shows that the Epic 4G video is scheduled for “January 01, 3000″ – are they trying to hide the previous date (August 20) because it is indeed the launch date? This Morning I woke up and watched the Samsung Galaxy S commercial in my TV, Soon I realize that the smartphone is already released by Telkomsel one of the biggest Indonesian Carrier. Telkomsel will be the first mobile telecommunication companies in Indonesia that launched Samsung Galaxy S in Indonesia market. The Samsung Galaxy S is retailed for Rp 6.499.000 or around $715, and Telkomsel will give 500 MB free data access for 6 months. The Samsung Galaxy S Smartphone comes preloaded with Android 2.1 (Éclair) but at the end of this year, it will be upgraded to Android 2.2 (Froyo). Unfortunately Telkomsel has closed Samsung Galaxy S pre order after the launches at 23-25 July 2010 at Ground Floor Atrium Plaza Senayan.
