Oh, we’ve been fairly certain for a while now that we’d see the sexy Samsung Galaxy S IIsaunter on over to AT&T, but now we’ve attained what appears to be the first official photo of the handset. Samsung’s Singapore division has a series of professional shots of planned accessories, including this “Samsung Galaxy S II Desktop Dock,” a handsome pyramid stand sporting HDMI and 3.5mm stereo-out jacks — and of course, an AT&T logo on its comfortably cradled smartphone. We’re still not quite sure when Samsung’s flagship will hit the US, but it had better get a move on — we’re slated to see a Galaxy S III by this time next year, after all.
Update: We should probably note it looks like the Galaxy S II’s seen a bit of a makeover for AT&T, gaining the four familiar capacitive touch buttons and generally appearing more like the Infuse 4G.

We suspected HP’s diminutive webOS 2.2 smartphone might be on its way to AT&T, and now a handful of leaked photographs rocking a panda-like color scheme have further confirmed our suspicions. As you can see from the image above, the little guy’s working the carrier’s logo in the upper left-hand corner of its 2.6-inch display. The photos of HP’s smallest webOS smartphone first appeared over at Pocketnow on Friday, just days before the Veer’s May 2nd launch party is scheduled to pop off in Los Angeles.
Unfortunately, we still don’t know exactly when the Snapdragon-packing device will be available for purchase, or how much it will cost when it lands, but we’re hoping to have more on that after tomorrow’s alleged event. Until then, you can always live vicariously through our hands-onwith this little multi-tasking wonder. Now, isn’t that just precious?

HTC’s newly announced Wildfire S — or model number PG76110 — just finished pinballing its way through the FCC’s labs, coming out the other side with 1900 / 850MHz dual-band HSPA. As a quick refresher, this phone was launched at MWC this year and features a 3.2-inch display, 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, Bluetooth 3.0, and runs Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Considering how many handsets are still shipping with Froyo, we expect this combination of Google’s newest OS, HTC’s Sense UI V3.0, plus an affordable price point to make the Wildfire S a popular device when it finally hits these shores. Of course, before you get all giddy, we’d like to remind you that while the Wildfire S does support the right 3G bands for AT&T, there’s no guarantee it’ll end up there.

We’ve known AT&T intends to enable HSUPA support for its mighty Atrix soon, but if you want it now (and we mean now), two restless XDA contributors are delivering some instant gratification for your upload woes. Today, dew.man and NFHimself released a modified radio file that allows Atrix owners to send data properly — a feat iPhone users simply take for granted. This mod requires that your device be rooted, but reactions in the forum are ranging from ecstatic to elated (and everywhere in between). Of course, you could wait for AT&T’s official release, but where’s the fun in that? Hey, it’s your phone, so take ownership already!

The new LG Thrive is AT&T’s first prepaid smartphone. I’m glad to see AT&T get in on the smartphone prepaid market, That AT&T are adding a 500 MB data package would seem to indicate they’re also changing their prepaid data cap. Well, better than nothing I guess. $25 for 500MB is This will attract people with unlocked phones a lot more. So, AT&T are now allowing GoPhone customers to purchase more reasonable quantities of data at slightly less exorbitant prices. That’s surprising.
It’s specifications : Android 2.2 platform, HSDPA 7.2 3G data speeds, 600MHz application processor, 3.2″ 320 x 480 262k color full-touch display, Wi-Fi/aGPS capable, 160MB User Memory w/ microSD storage (up to 32GB), 2GB microSD card installed, 3.2MP Auto-focus camera, Stereo Bluetooth, Quad-band GSM / Tri-band 3G (world capable), Text or picture and video messaging support, and POP3/IMAP/Gmail/EAS email support.
LG Thrive must choose a data package in order to use data services.
* NEW: $25 FOR 500MB
* $5 for 10MB (previously $4.99 for 1MB)
* $15 for 100MB (previously $19.99)

The new AT&T LG Phoenix is a nice phone! The size is wonderful, the apps are awesome and Android 2.2 makes it go super fast. My friend has the Sprint version and after using it, it has such a nice feel and the touch screen is very responsive. It really lets you personalize it the way you want. The battery life on this phone is fantastic compared to the Evo. It lasts all day, playing music, using gps, calls, etc.
The AT&T LG Phoenix cell phone features include a 3.2 inch HVGA (480 x 320) multi-touch display, 3.2MP camera, 600MHz processor, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, 2GB memory card pre-installed, 160MB User Memory w/ microSD storage (up to 32GB).

Amazon is selling the Motorola Atrix 4G only for $50. The device is the first dual-core smartphone that hit U.S. To top it all, it has the capability to operate the AT&T’s 4G connection. Normally, if you walk in to AT&T stores, they will make you pay them $200 and a two-years commitment. But if you purchase them via Amazon, then you will get 50% off it’s current price on the website which makes it only $50. If you are interested you can head to AmazonWireless immediately.
