Cowon has just announced their latest Cowon W2 release date and price. This windows 7 MID comes with 4.8-inc WSVGA screen, 1.3GHz Intel Atom Z520, 1GB RAM, 60GB or 80GB HDD, Bluetooth 2.0, 802.11b/g WiFi, two USB one miniUSB ports, and a battery promising 10 hours idle or 7 hours video playback. It is planned to hit the Korean market on January 25th for about $533 to $658. [Engadget]

COWON PMP
The Cowon Company has presented their new HD PMP dubbed as the ‘Cowon V5 HD’. The PMP supports HD video playback and HD TV out function. Coming with a 4.8 inch display and 16.7 million colors LCD touchscreen, the PMP looks slim with 15.7mm thickness and 197g weight and it also supports HDMI and SD Card. Other features included BBE+, JetEffect 3.0, a built-in speaker, electronic dictionary function, T-DMB, voice recorder, text/photo viewer, mobile games and more.
