Finally Zune HD’s owners have a Facebook application in their Zune HD. Microsoft has just launched the Facebook app which I believe it is something that you Zune HD’s users waiting for. The Facebook app on Zune HD allows users to be constantly connected via the device’s built-in Wi-Fi, and allows status updates with personalized music with a simple touch. You can also share photos, links, or vidoes like it used to be, and of course you can check what’s going on on your friends network activities directly from your Zune. [Slashgear]

Verizon VZ Navigator
Verizon is my favorite and its also the largest mobile carrier in North America, has announced its own map and navigation service known as VZ Navigator 5.0. VZ Navigator 5.0 now integrates Facebook, So you can update your status directly from the app or share your location with your friends if you want. The app is available on selected Verizon handsets like HTC Touch Pro2, BlackBerry Curve 8530, LG enV TOUCH and Samsung Omnia. More handsets will be added soon. But unfortunately it’s not free. You have to pay $9.99 per month, or $2.99 for a one-day use on certain phones. It comes with very good features like the Verizon Roadside Assistance service, which can “send your location to a dispatcher so assistance may reach you more quickly.” Isn’t that awesome? Other features are updated user interface, enhanced points of interest, improved customer experience, traffic crowd sourcing, and “Say it Mode” (you can verbally search for destinations on select Windows Mobile and BlackBerry smartphones). So i think you guys will love it. Please your thoughts with us .[UV]
