What’s bad from the upoming T-Mobile G2 is the handset will feature an 800MHz processor rather than a 1GHz processor, but the good thing is T-Mobile G2 device will feature Android ‘Froyo’ 2.2 and Flash 10.1. No words on pricing yet, but some rumors have a confirmed price tag for the T-Mobile G2 for $199.99 with a 2-year contract. Let’s wait until the official confirmation. [MW]

Google Launches One-Button Voice Actions for Android

Posted on 12 August 2010 by Cyn

Google’s Android OS has growing unexpectedly, and it is rapidly spreading in the market. I believe this is because Google have innovated some pretty sought after features like free turn-by-turn GPS surface in Google Maps Navigation and now Google has came with a new fantastic Voice Actions feature.

This Voice Action feature allows you to control several Android functions utilizing nothing more than your voice. This feature able to do sending a text messsage, location specific calling, set alarms, web browsing and a unique ‘find music’ function. The good news is, you don’t have to wait until Android 3.0 to get this update because it will be preinstalled on the Motorola Droid 2 with a version for Android 2.2 hitting the marketplace soon. Check out the video for a quick glance. [MW]

motorola droid froyo Unofficial: Android 2.2 Froyo for Motorola Droid usersGood news for Every DROID users! folks, the Android 2.2 Froyo is now available to be upgraded. But please remember that this is unofficial yet, so if you brave enough to take any risk and you don’t want to wait any longer to feel the Froyo experience then you can update it HERE, and take a note that for now this version upgrade doesn’t support Wi-Fi yet. My suggestion is please be patient and wait a while until the official Froyo update from the Motorola company itself. [Gadgetell]
