The gigabyte M100 is an updated version of Gigabyte Booktop M102. Gigabyte Introduced this netbook at CeBit after the T1000 and Q1000c. Remember the Gigabyte G-Smart Android phone? i showed you some leaked photos of the phone and the leaked screenshots were fake, Thanks to Matt from TraceyAndMatt, who has an inside connection at Gigabyte. Ok so here is the leaked screenshot of Gigabyte first Android phone. The name of the mobile is still unknown but this mobile will be part of the GSmart series. The new handset runs Android 1.6, it has a trackball and measures 103 x 54 x 13.4 millimeters. Have a look on the specs:

The Gigabyte Android phone should be released in Russia next month. Don’t know about other countries. It’s said that its price will be of only 9,000 RUB ($300).
Gigabyte doesn’t want to be left behind. After several manufaturers released smartphones based on Android OS, Gigabyte is also planning to make one. Gigabyte and Abocom Systems are in talks with Taiwanese mobile carrier, Vibo, to produce handsets based on the Android platform, though there isn’t any firm deal at the moment.
