Good news for folks in Korea! HTC Has just announced the launching of HTC HD2 and HTC Desire at a lavish news conference. This Hot handset will be carried by SK Telecom Korea. Alex Liu on HTC’s product marketing team said that “We believe bigger is better,With this screen we believe we took the Windows phone to a whole new level.” I think it will be a big competition between HTC and iPhone sales in Korea, The handset will be available through SK Telecom later this month. Great news for Vodafone HTC HD2 users, you might have been waiting for a ROM update and today the ROM update has come. Build 1.66 version can now available to be downloaded from HTC, but of course much behind the leaked 2.10 versions floating around at the moment. You can download the ROM via Vodafone here.
We know that T Mobile is an official partner of HTC HD2 and now Kevin Lewis, SVP of digital entertainment at Blockbuster, has confirmed the March 24th ship date for the T-Mobile HTC HD2. Lewis also talked about the Blockbuster application on the Windows Mobile handset. What for? This app will allow users to buy or rent new release movies playable on their phones. HTC HD2 owners can stop and pause a movie download, and continue watching it on an Internet-connected television or Blu-ray Disc player that features Blockbuster On Demand.
