Everybody is expecting for Gingerbread lately, but don’t you forget that there are many devices hasn’t receive a Froyo update. One of the devices is HTC Legend, and the good news for the device owner is HTC UK is set to start rolling out an OTA update tomorrow for the HTC Legend.
Currently there is a pre-froyo update being rolled out as we speak. Todays OTA helps get the device ready for tomorrows complete update. If you have not received todays update yet see if you can force it in by going to Settings > About phone > System software updates then Check now. You should get an update to build number 2.05.405.2. After that all you have to do is wait, impatiently for tomorrow to roll around and get yourself moving onto Froyo full time. [AndroidSpin]

The HTC Legend is officially announced at MWC 2010 in Barcelona before alongside with HTC Desire and HTC HD Mini. and the great news is that HTC Legend will be available starting from April in Europe. The very first Carrier that would bring you this HTC Legend is Vodafone UK, they plan to sell this phone for only £1.99 with a 2-yr contract agreement or even for free but with more expensive contracts. Just to remind you, The handset features a 3.2 inch HVGA capacitive multi-touch display, accelerometer, optical trackpad, HSPA, GPS, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm headset jack, and a 5MP camera with autofocus and LED flash. Guy the HTC Legend is at the corner. And i think it will be available soon in US and UK and all over the World. And its available for pre-order in Netherlands. OK lets talk about the latest shots of HTC Legend. Some hands on photos of the HTC Legend hits the web. No doubt HTC Legend is a beautiful phone. Remember the HTC Legend guys? . It appears as coming soon on KPN’s official website and it looks like it will be available starting March. So if you are in Netherlands then you can Book it(Book one for me). KPN is the largest mobile carrier in Netherlands As you know that the beautiful HTC legend comes with 3.2 inch HVGA AMOLED touchscreen display, HSPA connectivity, GPS, Wi-Fi, optical mouse, 3.5mm headset jack, 512MB ROM, 256MB RAM, 5MP camera, and a 600MHz processor. Hopefully, the smartphone will come with Android 2.1 onboard. The release date and the price of mobile is unknown. But as is said before the price of HTC Legend should be similar to the HTC Hero. I think this year , HTC is going to launch lot of new smartphones. As HTC is known as thee one of the best manufacturer of smartphones. And if you talk about examples. Then the Nexus one and HTC HD2 is the biggest example i can give. HTC is my personal favorite brand. Where i am going? lets talk about the new leaked screenshot of the HTC Legend. HTC Legend is also known as brother of HTC Hero. The HTC Legend comes with an 3.2 inch AMOLED touchscreen display with a HVGA resolution. The handset’s other features include: HSPA, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, digital compass, optical mouse, updated HTC People and HTC Footprints and HTC UI Sense, 3.5mm headset jack, 5MP autofocus camera with flash, 512MB ROM, 256MB RAM, 600MHz Qualcomm processor, and a 1300 mAh battery. I like the specs. I think the HTC Legend will be a real legend. Price and release date is still unknown. But i think the price of the phone will be almost similar to the HTC Hero.[Engadget]
