As we mentioned in our earlier coverage, Siri was initially developed outside Apple at the SRI, and the original Siri app worked just fine on an iPhone 4, although it was never integrated the way it is in iOS 5. It is fair to say that the lack of Siri support on iPhone 4 is probably a way for Apple to differentiate the iPhone 4S from the iPhone 4.
Steven Troughton-Smith has been able to backport Siri from the iPhone 4S to the iPhone 4, and it means that iPhone 4 owners may be able to get Siri, at least for those who are willing to jailbreak (bypass Apple’s app install authorization) their phones.
So, does it work? It apparently does according to that movie and story from 9to5Mac, and the author even says that if it appears sluggish, it’s because there is a missing driver. Until then, we won’t know for sure how fast Siri really is on the iPhone 4. Obviously, the iPhone 4S has more muscles, there’s no question about it, but it would have been really nice if iPhone 4 users had access to Siri. Now, will Apple block it at the server level? Let’s wait and see!

It seems Apple couldn’t find any way to stop Redsn0w working on iOS 5 beta releases. The just released iOS 5 beta 3 can be jailbroken with Redsnow 0.9.8 beta 1 version, confirms MuscleNerd through his twitter account.
Though no new features are included in beta 3 release, but a lot of bugs are fixed in it. Read our previous post to read the full changelog and to check what is changed in this new release. At the moment the jailbreak for iOS 5 beta 3 is tethered on all idevices except iPad 2. iPad 2 can not be jailbroken with Redsn0w or even with any other jailbreak tool except JailbreakMe 3.0 which can jailbreak iPad 2 running on iOS 4.3.3.
We have already covered the complete jailbreak process in “Jailbreak iOS 5 on iPhone 4, 3GS, iPad and iPod Touch with Redsnow 0.9.8” post. The only difference in iOS 5 beta 1 jailbreak and iOS 5 beta 3 jailbreak is that you have to point Redsn0w to iOS 5 beta 1 when you are asked to browse for .iPSW file.

Apple’s second beta of iOS 5 has been available to developers for a couple of days now, but along with the host of bugs it fixes, it has also blocked one of the most popular unlock methods out there – Gevey SIM. This leaves you with only two options as you can either downgrade to the first beta or to iOS 4.x if you need to have your device unlocked. Jailbreaking the beta, however, is still possible with Redsn0w 0.9.8b1.

Leica i9 is only a concept that the company made, so there’s no certainty in it. The i9 is a camera that you specifically attach to your iPhone 4.
Its features :
- Camera/iPhone Toggle — turns on your camera with an instant start-up time of 0.3sec., while simultaneously loading the Leica app on your iPhone4.
- Zoom/Volume Control – adjusts Tight and Wide when your camera is on, and adjusts volume Up and Down when your camera is off.
- Dedicated aperture and shutter dials – offers fast and easy option for manual operation.
- Pass-Throughs and Actuators – gives you full access to your iPhone4 controlsand headphone jack.
- Flash and Light Meter – offers higher quality photos and videos in low-light conditions.
If the device really hitting the market, it would cost around $900 to $1200. The usage of the i9 is pretty simple, when you turn on the device it will automatically activate the Leica iPhone apps in your phone.
