On the Mid-October T-Mobile began in rolling out the long awaited and highly anticipated Android 2.2 Froyo update for original myTouch 3G owners. On December 15th 2010, T-Mobile announced from their official forums that the original myTouch 3G 2.2 update was successfully completed. Finally, T-Mobile has just announced that the update for myTouch 3G 3.5mm Jack and myTouch 3G Fender Limted Edition will be rolled out starting from Wednesday, January 12th. The OTA update will be sent to myTouch 3G 3.5mm Jack and myTouch Fender LE in staggered waves beginning January 12 and is expected to be completed by February 1, 2011. TmoNews has just announced a good news for every MyTouch 3G users. After so many questions about the possibility of future myTouch3G updates, the Android 2.2 Froyo is coming soon on the next update. T-Mobile’s VP of Product Innovation Andrew Sherrard mention before about the 2.1 update but now you guys are getting 2.2! T-Mobile has not mention the update date yet, we’ll keep you updated.
