We’ve heard many rumors about this Playstation phone from Sony Ericsson and we’ve heard that the device will be named under the ‘Xperia’ brand and now we can reveal that the gaming handset will almost certainly go under the ‘Xperia Play’ brand. One of our sources have some evidence in the form of a European Union trademark filing using the ‘Xperia Play’ name. Surprisingly, XperiaPlay domain names (including com, net and org) have been registered by a PR agency called Jung Relations which is based in Stockholm, Sweden (where Sony Ericsson is based). Of course we guess that one of its clients is Sony Ericsson. Pocket-Lint has a statement that the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play will launch at MWC and will be available is shops starting from April. It’s an interesting device, let’s wait for the next issue. [Xperia10]

Playstation Phone
I’ve been waiting for This Playstation Phone since many years ago. And according to Wall Street Journal Sony is going to develop a Smartphone which able to download and play playstation games. It is said that they will make it to be a competitor for Apple’s growing on mobile gaming market, as we know iPhone games is very popular today. The smartphone will be able to connect with Sony’s online gaming and media platform, it is like Apple’s iTunes Music Store, but Sony promises a different feature for a range of devices to access its catalog of games. The phone also able to play the old playstation games, well it would be Great! The Playstation Phone expected to be launch later this year. I hope this phone will be a new phenomena in mobile phone world like the first iPhone release before. [Phonescoop]
