This Morning I woke up and watched the Samsung Galaxy S commercial in my TV, Soon I realize that the smartphone is already released by Telkomsel one of the biggest Indonesian Carrier. Telkomsel will be the first mobile telecommunication companies in Indonesia that launched Samsung Galaxy S in Indonesia market. The Samsung Galaxy S is retailed for Rp 6.499.000 or around $715, and Telkomsel will give 500 MB free data access for 6 months. The Samsung Galaxy S Smartphone comes preloaded with Android 2.1 (Éclair) but at the end of this year, it will be upgraded to Android 2.2 (Froyo). Unfortunately Telkomsel has closed Samsung Galaxy S pre order after the launches at 23-25 July 2010 at Ground Floor Atrium Plaza Senayan. Good news for Samsung Galaxy S owners in Korea. Samsung has just announced the official update for Galaxy S to get Android 2.2 Froyo, unfortunately these updates being available only for Korean at the moment. The Update will be available on August and Galaxy S owners in US or elsewhere will not get any update yet at the moment, but we hope the international Android 2.2 update will be available soon before the year end. The Galaxy i899 is India’s first CDMA device that will be sold exclusively by Reliance Mobile. Relience will retail it for Rs. 19,900. This Galaxy i899 packs a 3.2-inch AMOLED HVGA screen, 3.2MP camera with LED Flash, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microSD card slot, DivX, and Android OS. Samsung, The Giant Korean manufacturer plans to release the Samsung I5500 in Italy with the Corby Smartphone name, This Android Corby runs on the Android 2.1 and features a 2.8-inch QVGA LCD touchscreen, 3G, a 600MHz processor, a 2MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, A-GPS, Android market and other Google services access, social networking widgets and a 1200mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy 5 i5500 also has quad-band GSM and a microSD card slot that supports up to 16GB of storage space. Another rumor from samsung, take a look at the picture above I think it looks real and that could be the next Samsung Galaxy 2. According to Engadget the device will features a 1GHz Snapdragon, 3.7-inch AMOLED display, 5 megapixel cam, Android 2.1, and a whopping 32GB of internal storage.
