What improved approach to open a new epoch of limited, tiered information skeleton than to move it on behind to a QWERTY slider that had a outrageous partial in starting a Android revolution? That phone was a strange Droid and now a grandchild, a Droid 3, is out of a hothouse and adult for sequence on Verizon’s page.

Full-price is $459.99, though on-contract it’ll set we behind a utterly reasonable $199.99. For that we get a 1GHz, dual-core processor, 16GB of storage, 4-inch qHD display, and an 8 megapixel camera around a back. To get it you’ll need one of Verizon’s new information plans, that start during $10 monthly for 75MB and go on adult to $80 for 10GB. Oh, honeyed total data, we’re blank your soothing welcome already.

Samsung Galaxy S II Verizon Confirms Samsung Galaxy S II will be Launched on July

Good news for you who has been waiting for this superphone, Verizon is confirming that they will receive the Samsung Galaxy S II, and that it will be launching sometime in July. Verizon’s version of the powerful Galaxy S II is rumored to be getting the tag Samsung Galaxy Function, and the phone will launch under different names on at least AT&T and Spint (and undoubtedly many others). The July timeframe jives with rumors we have heard previously regarding the American launch of the S II, but without even the hint of an actual date we are left guessing whether it comes sooner or later.

20100324002731 Sn0wbreeze Brings Untethered Jailbreak to Verizon iPhone For Windows Users

Verizon iPhone owners, your untethered jailbreaking prayers have been answered. Hacker iH8Sn0w updated the Sn0wbreeze tool, adding support for Big Red handsets running iOS 4.2.7 and finally allowing those who have forsaken AT&T to bring the magic of Cydia to their phones without the cumbersome need for tethering.

The usual caveats apply: you’ll have to get your hands on a copy of iOS 4.2.7 (just do a little Googling) and there is always a very small chance that something could go horribly wrong and you’ll wind up with a very shiny paperweight. Mac users will have to sit this one out — Sn0wbreeze is a Windows-only affair. Hit up the source link to get your iHack on.

htc thunderbolt 01 HTC Thunderbolt Getting New Radio Firmware, According To Verizon Doc

Looks like AT&T isn’t the only carrier patching cellular connectivity issues this month — a Verizon document suggests that we’ll be getting some brand new radio firmware for the beleaguered HTC Thunderbolt. The handset not only fell victim to Verizon’s LTE outage but has had 3G data and CDMA / LTE cycling issues since day one, so we’re hoping this latest baseband will bring at least a modicum of relief for affected speed demons across the country. What we don’t know is when this patch might show up — we thought the Xoom’s security update would be imminent, but those documents were unceremoniously pulled

verizon droid charge Samsungs LTE enabled Droid Charge Coming To Verizon On April 28th

Ready for the era of $300 superphones? We know, we aren’t either, but the addition of LTE seems to be justification enough for Verizon Wireless and Samsung to toss a $299.99 subsidized price on the latter’s newest handset. After being leaked a few times over, the borderline-ominous phone is finally getting official. April 28th is the day, with consumers then able to grab a 4.3-inch AMOLED Plus display, rear-facing 8 megapixel camera, a 1.3 megapixel front-facing shooter, 1GHz processor, Android 2.2 and LTE support. Unlimited 4G data plans are still being hawked for $29.99, and while the entry price definitely stings, having mobile hotspot for “no additional charge” is certainly a perk. Might want to be first in line, though — that last snippet will only be offered for “a limited time.”

pre 2 free Verizon Palm Pre 2 now free on contract

Although the HP Pre 3 has been announced recently, Verizon has only gotten around to starting selling the Palm Pre 2 in the second half of last month. Having the newer model announced while trying to sell the older model can clearly hurt sales, and Verizon’s decision to stock the Pre 2 so late (after all, it’s been announced by HP in October of last year) makes little sense.

However, there’s good news for those in love with webOS. You can now get your very own webOS 2-based device, the Pre 2, on Verizon in the US, for free. Not $199, not $99, free.

HP will give a Pre 2 to you for free, but you have to sign a new two-year contract with Verizon. But if you were after the Pre 2 specifically, or don’t much care for the Pre 3, or just want a webOS device now, this is probably for you.

So head straight over to HP’s Wireless Central Store and get your free Pre 2 while supplies last.
