We heard before that HP purchased the Palm company, recently. And HP tablet which named HP Hurricane is doing a change of the OS. The company cancel the Windows 7 powered Slate and replace it with the Palm WebOS. Our source also said that HP was not happy with the Windows 7 touch screen performance. HP may also be dropping the Intel processor for something “LESS POWER HUNGARY”. If they go to the new OS they won’t need the Intel processor and thus will gain a few more hours of battery life. I think this ExoPC could be a viable competitor for iPad, because it will be running on Windows 7 ( it means it wil give you a full flash support), 11.6″ multi-touch screen, Intel Atom N450 Processor, and also the ability to play 1080p videos. The ExoPC tablet planned to be released on March before but I guess the company postpones it until September. The ExoPc also has an App Store just like iPad, but do you guys think that it will effect the iPad sales? [MW]
