Sony Ericsson Aspen first screenshot hits the web

400x267 images stories aspen IMG 0124 Sony Ericsson Aspen first screenshot hits the web

Sony Ericsson Aspen

Remember about the Sony Ericsson Espen. The first Windows Mobile 6.5.3 phone. The first screenshots of the phone just hit the web. I really love the phone. The mobile is slim, stylish and beautiful. The look of the mobile is almost same to the Nokia E series .It featured a full QWERTY keyboard . Have a look on the specs list:

  • Size: 117 x 60 x 12.45 mm
  • Weight: 130 grams
  • Memory card support: SanDisk microSD™, up to 16 GB
  • Operating system: Windows Mobile® 6.5.3
  • Battery capacity: 1500 mAh
  • 65,536 colour TFT display
  • 2.4 inches
  • 240 x 320 pixels (QVGA)
  • 3.5 mm audio jack
  • A-GPS
  • Micro USB connector
  • age support
  • USB support
  • Wi-Fi™
  • Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync®
  • Handwriting recognition
  • Microsoft Office® Mobile
  • 3D games
  • Facebook™
  • FM radio with RDS
  • Java™
  • Skype™
  • YouTube™

On the device SE-First says:

So, what’s new in Windows Mobile 6.5.3? In general, the UI has become a bit more finger friendly compared to 6.5, i.e. bigger icons, dropdown entries etc. Sony Ericsson’s custom addition, the SlideView, is already known from the Xperia X2. It provides quick access to messaging, media player, calendar and – as a novelty – Facebook contact information such as comments and posts.

The full featured QWERTY keyboard provides an OK haptic feedback, however the surface of the keys are a little bit too slippery. The device itself feels comfortable in your hands.
