I’m curious about the windows phone 7, what is thiss little thing can do? what about the graphics? what about the performance? and else. so why don’t we have a look on the video collection here.
“We had a chance to try out some of the prototypes – though not take photos or video yet – earlier on today, and first impressions are reasonably positive. Microsoft were at pains to point out that it’s still an in-development build, and indeed we saw various bugs and slow-downs. Often these would take place when opening an app, with data being pulled in but no on-screen indication of that taking place nor its progress. The touchscreen on the development device seemed responsive, as was the onscreen keyboard, and the animations are smooth. The browser supports pinch-zoom and will eventually reflow text on a double-tap.”
“Based on the basics that Microsoft demonstrated today, the platform appears to have a bright future. The user interface is simple but extremely useful. It’s clear Microsoft has looked at the criticism of Windows Mobile in the same way it did with Windows Vista and has stepped back and made a great product because of this. We’ll know a lot more about the developer strategy and applications at MIX 2010 next month but until then the underlying OS is a great start. Steve Ballmer, Microsoft CEO, confirmed that we should expect devices in time for the holiday season 2010 but Microsoft officials refused to give exact dates.”
The long waiting is over, Finally The Windows phone 7 has been confirmed at MWC 2010, Barcelona. The OS looks new and different than the latest windows mobile, Engadget mentions that the OS featuring a completely altered home screen and user interface experience, robust Xbox LIVE and Zune integration, and vastly new and improved social networking tools. It’s a complete OS package, The Xbox integration will include LIVE games, avatars, and profiles, while the Zune end of things appears to be a carbon copy of the standalone device’s features (including FM radio). No specification details at the momoent but I believe it will appear soon. If you have been waiting for this don’t worry because it looks like Microsoft Carrier partnerships are far and wide, so guys be ready to grab one!
Things are going interesting day by day. Yesterday i told you that Microsoft will announce Windows Mobile 7 during MWC. And it’s confirm now. And after seeing the photo above. I think it’s solid confirm. But in this photo, another question is arising that what is this Windows Phone 7 Series? . May be it will be like Windows 7 . For example Windows 7 professional, premium etc. Or it could be due to the different chassis requirements possibly. But now, only one day is left. So lets grab the pop-corn and wait for the show .
