Are consider to buy a Music Player? Good news for you Zune has just getting a price cut again. Right now, customers can get the 16GB Zune HD for about $162.54 at Wal-Mart. Just FYI, it regularly retails at a price of $199 before. This price will make a good competition between Zune and iPod Touch which has higher price with an equal amount of memory. I guess if this price cut effets the market maybe Apple will follow Zune to cut iPod Touch’s price soon. [MW]

Facebook App for Zune HD Debuts
Finally Zune HD’s owners have a Facebook application in their Zune HD. Microsoft has just launched the Facebook app which I believe it is something that you Zune HD’s users waiting for. The Facebook app on Zune HD allows users to be constantly connected via the device’s built-in Wi-Fi, and allows status updates with personalized music with a simple touch. You can also share photos, links, or vidoes like it used to be, and of course you can check what’s going on on your friends network activities directly from your Zune. [Slashgear]

The long waiting is over, Finally The Windows phone 7 has been confirmed at MWC 2010, Barcelona. The OS looks new and different than the latest windows mobile, Engadget mentions that the OS featuring a completely altered home screen and user interface experience, robust Xbox LIVE and Zune integration, and vastly new and improved social networking tools. It’s a complete OS package, The Xbox integration will include LIVE games, avatars, and profiles, while the Zune end of things appears to be a carbon copy of the standalone device’s features (including FM radio). No specification details at the momoent but I believe it will appear soon. If you have been waiting for this don’t worry because it looks like Microsoft Carrier partnerships are far and wide, so guys be ready to grab one!

We already heard that Windows Mobile 7 is coming soon, but today we have a confirmation from CNET’s Beyond Binary column reports that shows
“Microsoft is still planning to finalize the code for Windows Mobile 7 by summer in order to have the new software on devices that ship before the end of the year.”
They also claim that a phone which connected to the Zune service and which was based on Windows Mobile was also due to arrive this year, and should come earlier in the year ahead of Windows Mobile 7 devices.
They also claims that “Zune phone” which has been rumored around the web may be branded by Microsoft and the result of the Pink team works will be coming in only a few months, and a different branch which would be the actual Windows Mobile used and branded by other OEM’s. Stay tuned for more updates. [CNET]

It’s really amazing news that Microsoft will launch a Zune Mobile. According to All Things Digital, Katherine Egbert who is technology analyst at Jefferies recently mentioned that the Zune-like handset might be announced either at MWC 2010 in February or at CTIA 2010 in March. She also believes that the Zune Phone will feature a 5MP camera and 720P video support. Actually Microsoft want to compete with Apple and Palm Pre. And Zune Mobile will run Windows Mobile 7 .
