Recently, Viewsonic has joined the Netbook sales competition by releasing it’s very first netbook The
VNB102. The netbook comes with an Intel Atom N270 1.60GHz processor, 1GB RAM,160GB Hard disk with a 10.1 inch LCD with 1024 x 600 resolution. It also equipped with a 3-in-one card reader, three USB ports, Ethernet, VGA and running on Windows XP OS. You can choose to buy it with 3-cell battery(3 hours) for $349, or a 6-cell battery version for $399, which should produce 6 hours of battery life.
they also released The Viewsonic Notebook Pro VNB132 with a 13-inch CULV notebook which features the Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 processor, 2GB RAM and a 320GB Hard Disk. It has a 13.3-inch LCD with 1280 x 800 resolution. There are two USB ports, a 7-in-1 card reader, HDMI, Ethernet and ExpressCard 34 slot. Despite the thin design, the laptop encloses an 8X DVD burner which can be swapped with an extra battery and it will be running on Windows 7 and retails for $899. [GizmonGames]
