iPhone and AT&T

Words are up that AT&T will lose  Its iPhone Exclusivity coming week. It will be a great lose for AT&T but i think Apple should give a chance to other US carriers . May be Apple will give Verizon a chance , Because according to this rumor , Apple tablet will be launch in US via Verizon. So may be a new iPhone or 3GS will be available on Verizon .So what you guys think. Will Apple announce a new iPhone along with the Apple tablet this week?
