Microsoft has dropped the “SERIES” name in Windows Phone 7 Series and rename it into “Windows Phone 7″. They announced this via their official twitter channel after other announcements like Windows Phone Classic being the current Windows Mobile 6.5 and presumably Windows Phone 8 Series being the next generation. I think with shortening the name it will help but it just sound a lil bit weird if you call it Windows Phone 7 Phone because you repeat the “phone” twice. So guys, What do you think of the new name?
